MEDTEC Europe attracted professionals mostly from European, Asian and American countries, who were looking to purchase new equipment and consumables, find suppliers and partners, and get up to date with the latest developments in the medical device field. Attendees could benefit from the high - level and cutting edge three track conference programme covering:
- Design, Prototype, Human Factors Engineering and Usability
- Risk, Quality and Validation
- EU and Global Regulations and Market Access.
Participants were also given the tools to efficiently manage their time at the show. Some of them were: MEDTEC Meets - an exclusive meeting platform for exhibitors and visitors to find suppliers and potential business partners, iZones - space for presentations talking about the recent innovations within the medical device sector, and Twitter hash tag #medteclive to share pictures, videos and messages from the day. The exhibition was split into three halls and it accommodated over 900 leading suppliers. For Wickham Laboratories it was a great opportunity to meet industry leaders, learn about new technologies, find out what tests are currently required to be conducted on medical devices, and to get in contact with current customers and new potential leads.
